The Internship Playbook reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
3. Description of Service
The Internship Playbook provides resources and guides to help students throughout the process of preparing, applying, and completing a Tech Internship.
4. User Obligations
You agree not to misuse the service or help anyone else do so. You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose;
- Access or attempt to access the service by any means other than the interface provided by The Internship Playbook.
5. Content Use Restrictions
Creating an account with the Internship Playbook grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content and services on our website. You may not reuse, resell, republish, or redistribute any content from The Internship Playbook's website without prior written consent. All content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of The Internship Playbook and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of this content is strictly prohibited.
6. Privacy Policy
Your use of The Internship Playbook is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Internship Playbook’s liability for all claims relating to the services provided by The Internship Playbook, whether for breach of contract or in tort, in the aggregate shall be limited to the amount of fees paid to The Internship Playbook during the preceding twelve (12) months. In no event shall The Internship Playbook be liable to the School or to any third party for indirect, special, exemplary, incidental or consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to, loss of or damage to data, loss of profits, loss of contract or loss of other economic advantage, whether arising out of contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise, resulting from or relating to the provision of the services by The Internship Playbook, whether or not The Internship Playbook knew or should have known of the possibility of any such damages.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of The United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
9. Binding Arbitration and Waiver of Class Action
In the event of a dispute arising under or relating to this Contract or any other products or services provided by us (a “Dispute”), the dispute will be finally and exclusively resolved by binding arbitration governed by the Federal Arbitration Act (“FAA”). neither party shall have the right to litigate such claim in court or to have a jury trial. All disputes will be resolved before a panel of three arbitrators selected jointly by the parties, whose decision will be final, except for a limited right of appeal under the FAA. The arbitration shall be commenced and conducted by JAMS pursuant to its then current Comprehensive Arbitration Rules and Procedures.
You agree that any arbitration or proceeding shall be limited to the Dispute between us and you individually. To the full extent permitted by law, (i) no arbitration or proceeding shall be joined with any other; (ii) there is no right or authority for any Dispute to be arbitrated or resolved on a class action-basis or to utilize class action procedures; and (iii) there is no right or authority for any Dispute to be brought in a purported representative capacity on behalf of the general public or any other persons. You agree that you may bring claims against us only in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.
