Questions to Prepare

Next Module

Before each interview, you should build a list of 4-8 questions to ask your interviewer. These questions should show the interviewer that you’ve thought about the company’s values and why you would be a good fit.

A Few Tips

  • The questions should also show that you’re a serious, intellectual person and that you would be a good employee (avoid asking immature questions such as: “Does the company let interns drink alcohol during happy hours?”)
  • During the interview, you should ask follow-up questions if any arise
  • You’ll want to fill the entire allotted time during your interview, as ending early doesn’t scream “I have a lot of enthusiasm for this job!” So be prepared to keep asking questions until the 45 or 60 minutes has elapsed.

Examples of Good Questions to AskHere are some good example questions to ask (if applicable to the company you’re interviewing with).
