Don’t set aside the rest of your life for the internship process. That being said, try to apply to internship postings as soon as they come out. Recruiters usually process applications in the order they arrive, so the sooner you apply, the sooner you’ll hear back. For all of the below resources, turn on post notifications if you can.

Pitt CSC/Simplify Github repository

THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT RESOURCE, DON’T IGNORE IT!

This repository has almost all of the internships that are available, and allows you to see locations as well. Either turn on commit alerts or use this site to be notified by email when new listings are posted.

SimplifySimplify is an up-and-coming platform that aims to become a one-stop-shop for job applications. The site has internship applications for many top companies, and it makes applying much easier because everything is on one site and you only have to make your profile once.

Jobright.ai Internship ListJobright.ai is a new job-finding platform that combines a standard job platform with AI-matching features and more. The Jobright team has curated this massive list of internships, covering all sorts of roles within tech.

New Github repository

This repo is new as of May 2024, and will likely have a lot of overlap with the Pitt CSC repository. But it may be good to check both.

LinkedInNot all internships will be posted here, but some may be exclusively posted here. You can set up alerts for SWE Internships by location, which will give you a weekly summary of new jobs that were posted. You can also do your own search, which might even be easier.

GoogleGoogle Jobs will also display many postings. Just search “software engineering intern” (plus a specific location if you want) and see what pops up. However, many of the jobs that Google shows will be repeated in other places or won’t be interesting to you.
